I've been offsite for a while, but whenever I've had time to get online I've sneaked a quick look at my friends works on DA. Good to see you're posting yours and getting more technically adventurous.
Re your work: I am impressed by the maturity of your approach. You have been very adventurous and have obviously put a lot of effort into improving your art. I like that you have pursued such a diversity of subjects and varied your technique to suit the subjects and the conditions. That is the way to learn and polish your skills. Keep doing what you are doing now; be adventurous, be curious, be persistent.
If I ever find myself in China one day I should wish to visit this beautiful river for sure! that's a possibility
Means a lot to hear you say that Ian, I certainly can notice an improvement when I compare my recent work to the older stuff (some of it at least!) but yes I feel it's important to explore all areas otherwise you are limiting yourself in essentially a limitless subject!
